The SAVE International Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Katherine F. Bethany was sworn in as the Society’s President at its recent 2017 Value Summit held in Philadelphia, PA.
Bethany’s long and distinguished career in Value Engineering and her continued determined leadership in SAVE International made her an exceptional candidate for President.
Bethany’s value career has been on the management side of the Value Engineering profession. At the State Department’s Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) Bureau, she created the VE program management process and managed the VE program. In addition, Bethany developed detailed metrics to measure and document the success of the Value Studies performed by OBO. Her template was adopted by the U.S. Office of Management & Budget to document success across all government agencies in compliance with the law and OMB regulations.
The SAVE International Board of Directors, volunteers and staff are looking forward to the future of the Society under Bethany’s leadership.
